Protein Banana Bread

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 scoop vanilla Fresh Field whey protein
  • 1 c. flour (gluten free)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 c. greek yogurt
  • 1/4 c. apple sauce
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional add-ins

  • Nuts-walnuts, pecans, almonds
  • Blueberries
  • Chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Combine all dry ingredients and whisk. 
  3. Mash bananas and then combine all wet ingredients. 
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients together and add in optional ingredients if desired. 
  5. Line a loaf pan with cooking spray or parchment paper. 
  6. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, check doneness with a toothpick.
