Protein Scones
INGREDIENTS
Scones
- 2 scoops vanilla Fresh Field whey protein
- 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 Tbsp stevia
- 2 Tbsp cold butter (add more for more moist and flakier texture)
- 1/2 c. mixed berries
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. milk
Icing
- 3 Tbsp stevia confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp milk
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine dry ingredients and mix thoroughly
- Add in cold butter and mix in with hands
- Fold in mixed berries
- Place mixture on a baking pan greased or lined with parchment paper
- Divide into six servings using dough cutter
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes
- While waiting to bake mix ingredients for icing
- When baking is completed drizzle icing over scones
