Protein Scones

INGREDIENTS

Scones

  • 2 scoops vanilla Fresh Field whey protein
  • 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 Tbsp stevia
  • 2 Tbsp cold butter (add more for more moist and flakier texture)
  • 1/2 c. mixed berries
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. milk

Icing

  • 3 Tbsp stevia confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine dry ingredients and mix thoroughly 
  3. Add in cold butter and mix in with hands
  4. Fold in mixed berries
  5. Place mixture on a baking pan greased or lined with parchment paper
  6. Divide into six servings using dough cutter
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes
  8. While waiting to bake mix ingredients for icing
  9. When baking is completed drizzle icing over scones
